Rainbow Medical and Ultrasonics, we design and manufacture all tooling and special-purpose machinery in-house. Using advanced 3D CAD systems alongside our fully equipped CNC toolroom, we maintain complete control over quality, precision, and lead times across every project.
Our on-site toolroom allows us to rapidly modify and refine tooling, ensuring development trials and production processes continue to move forward without delay. We manufacture in a wide range of materials — including aluminium, titanium, and specialist steels — to meet the diverse and demanding requirements of our customers. In addition, we work closely with a trusted network of local material treatment and specialist manufacturing partners, many of whom we have collaborated with for over 40 years. This established supply chain ensures reliability, consistency, and fast turnaround while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
To support product development and production, we offer comprehensive on-site capabilities for application weld trials, first-off builds, and higher-volume subcontract welding. Our dedicated, clean and bright, controlled production area houses approximately 15 plastic welding systems, regularly manufacturing customer products, such as
Heat staking machines,
Ultrasonic welders (from 20kHz to 40kHz), Spin welding systems, and Ultrasonic Cutting & Sealing Machines & Equipment. For medical and high-specification applications, we also operate a Class 7 cleanroom facility. Within this controlled environment, we can run our welding equipment to produce fully assembled medical components and finished products — packaged and ready for shipment.
